FIRE SAFETY
Home Fire Safety Checks (HFSC) are free.
They can be booked following this link, which you may have received
a copy of through your door as we are doing leaflet drops regularly.
Please call 01926 466282 and not directly to Southam Fire Station.
The co-ordination and funding is controlled from Community Fire Safety dept,
so all requests are managed from there.
However, if you are in Southam town it is possible that the HFSC will be
conducted by one of our own crew. For addresses further afield other
Wholetime (Full Time) crews may conduct the HFSC.

Interlinked are better still
The free smoke alarms are a great start, and work well in smaller properties where they can each be heard in all rooms.
However, for larger properties, there are similar smoke alarms available that are "interlinked". This means they talk to each other using a radio-frequency signal. When one smoke alarm or heat alarm, or Carbon Monoxide (CO) alarm is activated, they all sound together. This ensures everyone hears the alarm no matter where they are in the house.
